Fed: Swan flies to New York ahead of G20 meeting

Treasurer WAYNE SWAN is on his way to the United States to get the latest word on the
global financial crisis .. and the recovery from it.

He'll meet finance executives in New York .. which he says was the epicentre of the
crisis .. ahead of the G20 finance ministers meeting in Washington later in the week.

Mr SWAN says Australia has come through the global recession in better shape than practically
every other advanced economy.
