Interstate General Co. L.P. (AMEX,PSE: IGC) said January 4 that an 80%-owned subsidiary has sold approximately 2.6 acres of commercial land for $2.76 million at Parque Escorial, a 432-acre planned community in the metropolitan area of San Juan. Banco Popular, the largest bank in Puerto Rico, purchased one acre for $1.08 million and retailer Western Auto bought 1.6 acres for $1.68 million.
