Qld: Family plea for help in finding killer

BRISBANE, Jan 12 AAP - The father and sister of an American murdered in Sydney's notorious
Kings Cross area today appealed for help in finding his killer.

US Navy veteran David Wessex, 50, was found dead from severe head injuries in a room
of a discount hotel in Kings Cross on December 29 last year.

It is believed he was attacked on Darlinghurst Road, Kings Cross, about 4.45pm on December 27.

His sister Christina Dunlop told a news conference in Brisbane today she believed a
man who called 000 after the attack could …
