Qld: Cyclone watch issued for Gulf of Carpentaria
BRISBANE, Jan 1 AAP - A cyclone may be forming in the western Gulf of Carpentaria andheading for the coast, the weather bureau said.
The Bureau of Meteorology in Darwin said a cyclone watch has been declared for coastaland island communities between the town of Nhulunbuy in Arnhem Land and the Queenslandborder.
